For my traditional media advert I plan to make a billboard, due to this I will keep the design simple and easy to read because the people who will probably see the billboard will predominately be people who are driving. The billboard will subvert norms as it will not feature a picture of the product, this has been chosen to keep the advert simple and non distracting to those on the road. Furthermore it will be very bland colours with the only vibrant part of the billboard being the company logo as it uses bright colours. Further subverting traditional norms the billboard wont specifically advertise the unique selling point of the product in the traditional way of showing it as we will advertise it through slogans which are in line with the healthy nature of the drink.
I plan for the advertisement campaign to run within the summer so between the dates of June and August will be where the advertisement campaign will be pushed the most but afterwards the campaign will decrease in activity as we change to a different campaign for the other seasons. The summer campaign will feature the release of a new berry flavour called Blue Berry Blast which will be the focus of the campaign.
Advertisements where they cover the product with a cloth make people want to know what's under the cloth that they cant see and I'm inspired to utilise this within my advertisement campaign by potentially partially hiding my product underneath a cloth or pulling off a cloth as a grand reveal.

Smirnoff
Colour Analysis - The most prominent colour is white and blue which represents purity, Red is also apparent on the bottle and can can symbolize passion, desire, but can represent anger, danger and aggression which may be done because its alcohol and is showing it can be dangerous.
Backdrop Analysis - Snow and water to show purity and trust because you can see the drink and see their are no hidden things in the drink.
Font Analysis - San-Serif Font to appear modern
The use of showing the entire bottle may be done as we can see through the bottle and see the backdrop behind it. The reason this is done could be because it shows transparency with the company which could lead to a better customer - brand relationship which will lead to repeat buyers and loyal customers.
Colour Analysis - Red is prominent and can can symbolize passion, desire, but can represent anger, danger and aggression which may be done because its alcohol and is showing it can be dangerous.
Font Analysis - Serif Font to show it is an old drink and maybe because the age to drink alcohol is 18+. King of Beers is the slogan that is used to make it seem like it is the best drink on the market and it is used for to connote royalty which could lead to people trusting the advertisment more as people normaly trust royalty aswell as see them as higher than others so customers may see this beer as being the best beer on the market as this specific beer is claiming to be the "king of beers". The advert itself is very minimal with not much going on just a solid red background, a simple slogan and a cinematic picture of the beer which looks refreshing and cold.
Coca Cola
Colour Analysis - Red in this context can represent Strength, energy, Passion, Courage and red has a stimulating, motivational effect and it grabs attention people.
Backdrop Analysis - red and white, uses negative space to create images.
Font Analysis - Sans Serif font to show they are modern and are evolving with the times. The slogan "They dont make them like they used to. we do" is used to show that coca cola hasn't had to change their taste scince 1886. This connotes originality and authenticity.
The use of red here most likley connotes passion and their passion to keep the original taste they are known for and have built a brand ontop of. Furthermore the statment "they dont make 'em like they used to." could be used to almost make people aware of changes in flavor over time and further show how Coca Cola is determined to keep their signature flavor the same as its always been. This can also build trust as they refuse to change creating repeat customers and customers that are loyal and that may also spread the company's name through word of mouth.
Conclusion - Colours play a large part in advertising, They can make customers think specific things and associate them with the brand for example pink or red can connote love. Furthemore every advert uses red, this is because it is a very pronounced color and stands out the most among anyother color that isnt directly next to it in the color spectrum.
The background of an advertisement can play a role of how customers perceive the concept of the brand, an example is a solid color can be seen as simple and trustworthy but an actual background can mean many things depending on what is shown.
A slogan can be used to get across a simple short message to the audience, this can build a relationship between the customer and brand quickly as this is their first impression of the brands ideals.

This is my production schedule i have made for myself, it will show what i will need for the physical copies of the pre production documents, the equipment i will need to record sound and footage and to edit said sound and footage.
This is my developed design, I have decided to stick with the flower background but detail it a bit more by adding a tree in the background and greying it out to add some complexity to the design, then I added a material to the font, added a drop shadow and a glow which was coloured black to further make it stand out from my background as it is the same colour.

Here I made a more advanced version of my billboard advert and my media advert drawings further making the picture on how they would look clearer and to give a better idea of how it would look digitally. Further more it allows me to edit the bits I want to change easier in a programme like photo shop.
